SHOPPING  An excellent range of shopping from clothes boutiques to camping, a travel agency, car parts, bakeries, arts to computers (IT, local ISP), plus we have a large supermarket with low prices, open 7 days a week with extensions recently completed. There are also 2 chemists, 2 newsagents and 2 service stations.
INDUSTRIAL  Large industrial complex. Hardware, joinery shop, roofing products, car repairs, earthmoving and self storage sheds, to name a few
RESTAURANTS Excellent selection of street side restaurants and cafes, some open all week including Sundays
MOTEL A comfortable Motel provides for overnight accommodation at very reasonable rates – but book early as it is very popular.
CLUBS Everything – football, bowls, golf, cricket, soccer, woodworkers, tennis, squash, gym, badminton, car, pony and many more
ENTERTAINMENT RSL and Victory Hotel regularly have live bands, club nights, pokies and raffles, and various other forms of entertainment
ARTS & CRAFTS Cooroy Butter Factory has lots of courses from painting to pottery
TRANSPORT Regular train services run between Cooroy and Brisbane City, one way fare around $13.50 and goes as far as Cairns in the north. Sunbus runs a bus service through Cooroy to Noosa, Nambour and Maroochydore 8 times a day

Cooroy is perfectly positioned and is indeed the hub of the Noosa Hinterland, with good access to the Noosa beaches and direct access to the Bruce Highway, 10 minutes to Noosa Central, 20 minutes to Main Beach and Hastings Street, 25 minutes to Gympie, 15 minutes to Nambour, 1 ˝ hours to Brisbane City and Brisbane International Airport.

The town is growing steadily and reliably proving to be a good place to invest. Nestled near Mount Cooroy amongst gentle rolling hills with a tastefully landscaped main street, it proves a pleasure to live in. Stay and linger a while, talk to the friendly locals and you’ll see what I mean.
